一直都想過要去看一看一個activity是怎么啟動起來的,但一直都沒有靜下心去認(rèn)真看一看,現(xiàn)在趁著有時間好好閱讀了一下源碼,加上網(wǎng)上一些同志的分享,終于吧代碼擼的比較清楚了,怕時間一久,又忘記了,趕緊記下來,如果有什么錯誤和遺漏的話,看官們也請指出。(本文中源碼出自Android API 23)
首先我們打開activity的startActivity方法:

Activity 繼承于 Context ,這是個抽象類,里面并沒有實現(xiàn) startActivity() 這個方法,查了一下它的子類,嗯哼,就看了 ContextWrapper 實現(xiàn)了它,但是,這個 mBase 又是什么鬼?嗯,也是一個 Context 對象,但具體是那個類呢,查了一下 Context 的繼承關(guān)系,找到了 ContentImpl 這個類,看一下這個類的介紹:

這個類就是Context的Api的共同的實現(xiàn)類了,上面說到的 mBase 對象實際上說的就是這個類的實例了,那么這個對象是怎么來的,啥時候?qū)嵗模坎患?,往下看,遲早要知道的。
好了,現(xiàn)在來看一下 ContentImpl 中 startActivity() 的實現(xiàn):

看紅色代碼部分,mMainThread 就是 ActivityThread 類的實例,整個app進程的入口main()函數(shù)也是在這個類中的,這個 mMainThread 提供了一個 Instrumentation 對象

簡單的說,它就是用來監(jiān)控應(yīng)用中各種交互行為,從注釋上看,我們可以通過 Manifest 來指定一個我們自己實現(xiàn)的 Instrumentation 類,好了這個不是重點,讓我們看一下一個類怎么 startActivity 的吧:

好吧,怎么這家伙又把啟動 activity 的事情交給別人做了。。。再點進去看:咦,怎么。。怎么是 IActivityManager 的接口方法,好吧,又要找它的實現(xiàn)類了,but 貌似找到的這個家伙 ActivityManagerProxy 并沒有認(rèn)真的做事情啊,它找了一個代理去 startActivity()去了,那我們就去找這個代理去,從 IActivityManager extends IInterface 這個類的繼承方式我們就能發(fā)現(xiàn)這其實就是Android中的Binder機制,跨進程的通信機制,ActivityManagerProxy 找的代理其實就是 ActivityManagerService ,ActivityManagerService 屬于系統(tǒng)進程,它對手機中所有的activity進行了統(tǒng)一的管理,源碼中就是這么個獲取的:

找到了,一個 mStackSupervisor 對象,這又是干啥的?字面上的意思就是活動棧的管理器,先不管了,讓我們先看看它的實現(xiàn)(...啊,代碼不是一般的長,咱們只劃重點):

好了,就貼幾個,可以看出這些都是我們啟動以后 activity 的返回的各種結(jié)果,可想而知前面的各種邏輯是干嘛的了。那么這樣我們就只找成功的那一個常量值 START_SUCCESS,在 startActivityLocked() 我們發(fā)現(xiàn)之后方法末尾返回了 START_SUCCESS,其余都不是,那么關(guān)鍵代碼也就比較好找了,請看上面紅色的重點~~,好了繼續(xù)走你,這回就來到了 ActivityStack 這個類了:

阿西吧,將近400行。。老衲差點就要圓寂在這源碼上面了。。耐著性子看了好幾遍,還是讓老衲找出了重點,前面的判斷大概都有比如從 activity 后臺到前臺,從暫停到恢復(fù),回到home頁,屏幕旋轉(zhuǎn),切換到不同棧 activity 等等各種情況,但是這個不是咱們要的,咱就是要一個 activity 從無到有,所以咱只留相關(guān)的代碼,ActivityStackSupervisor.startSpecificActivityLocked():

啊,終于找到一個比較少代碼的方法了,從邏輯判斷上看 realStartActivityLocked 才是開啟我們應(yīng)用內(nèi)的方法嘛,至于 startProcessLocked,它是啟動應(yīng)用進程的,咱們先不管,下一篇文章再理它,看看 realStartActivityLocked 怎么個實現(xiàn)的:

忽略掉其他的代碼,我們只看重點,這個 thread 是誰呢?還記得我們的 ActivityThread 吧,這個thread其實就是 ActivityThread 中的內(nèi)部類對象 ApplicationThread ,我們?nèi)タ匆幌逻@個方法的實現(xiàn),看了那么多代碼,這里其實已經(jīng)很接近了:

哇哇哇,滿屏的親切感啊,通過反射創(chuàng)建了一個 Activity 的實例,然后使用 Instrumentation 執(zhí)行 onCreate 部分,還有那個最初讓我們疑惑的 ContextImpl 對象,用 attach 關(guān)聯(lián)了起來,這里都一一給出了答案。。感覺very nice啊。。。
好了流程就說到這里了,下次再說一下應(yīng)用程序的啟動流程...看官們要是有看到不對的地方,請指正,請大力打臉。。。同求進步。。。。
